GTD Series Loading Dock Ramps

The GTD Series converts truck-level loading docks into full drive-in access — without construction, permits, or permanent infrastructure. Rated to 35,000 pounds with a 2:1 load factor of safety, each unit is custom-built to your dock height, door width, and vehicle ground clearance requirements.

Why Adapt-A-Ramp is the right choice

  • Converts any truck-level dock into drive-in access without a building permit or permanent construction

Design Features

GTD Series Loading Dock Ramps Features

The GTD Series is built with engineering-first design features that deliver safety, structural integrity, and reliable performance for ground-to-dock vehicle access — every unit, every time.

All steel heavy duty construction: Every GTD Series ramp is constructed from steel and undergoes a complete stress analysis to ensure structural integrity and superior operational safety. All ramps exceed a 2:1 load rating safety factor — minimum.

Heavy duty side guard rails: Built-in side guard rails run the full length of the ramp to prevent vehicles from drifting off the edge during entry and exit. Standard guard rails are 18″ high, with additional height options available.

Anti-slip deck surface: The full length of the ramp deck features an anti-slip surface, providing superior traction for safer operation in all weather conditions.

Dual speed leveling jacks: Dual speed leveling jacks allow operators to quickly and precisely set the ramp to dock height. Fully supported and strategically positioned to maximize ramp stability and operator safety.

Mobility package

The GTD Series is available with an optional pneumatic tire mobility package, allowing you to reposition the ramp between dock doors or move it clear of the entrance when not in use. No permanent anchoring required — the ramp goes where you need it and moves out of the way when you don’t.

Hinged lip and tail plate

The hinged lip plate overlaps directly onto the loading dock floor, creating a smooth and safe transition from the ramp into your facility. At the lower end, the hinged tail plate compensates for uneven ground surfaces — keeping the entry point stable and level so vehicles can drive on and off without jarring transitions or ground clearance issues.

Custom-built to your spec

Every GTD Series ramp is built to order. Width, length, load capacity, and incline angle are all configured around your specific dock height, door dimensions, and the vehicles or equipment using the ramp. Ground clearances are engineered into every design to prevent vehicles from bottoming out at the transitions — a detail that matters whether you’re running forklifts, pickup trucks, or heavy equipment through the door.
